I’ve been working on an 1942 Evinrude Sportsman Single cylinder. Does anyone have a spark plug chart for this one?
Also, does this motor have the ”metal ” water pump like the Zephyr? It seems to be pumping good, just curious.

Your Sportsman calls for a Champion H-10J set at 0.025" but any of the following plugs can be used instead.

Mumbles, sorry, I made a mistake in my first post, the motor is a Model # 4366 Fisherman, not a Sportsman. The H10-J plug seems to work well on this motor however. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Model 4366 is a two horse Sportsman single. The last year Fisherman motors in ’39 were rated at 5.4 horse.

I think someone must have put a Fisherman decal on this motor long ago. It looks original, but is put on a little crooked too. After seeing the Fisherman name, and since I couldn’t find my Evinrude model year guide, I was confused. Thanks for the info!
