      I have a JW-10 3 hp Johnson. I would like to lube the starter recoil and the throttle lever. I have taken all the grease out. Would I use a multi-purpose grease, Marine grease or Lithium spray lube. What would you use for these areas? Thank you for your support.

        Nothing critical there. You probably have some multipurpose or marine lube on hand. Either is ok. Use just a thin smear on the magneto mounting rings. Any excess just gets thrown off and fouls the breaker points.
