This switch plate started in ’57 I believe, but I know that it was carried on for several years with multiple medallions for the middle. Anyone know what year this is?

I believe that one is from 1959 for the Golden Jubilee motors.

It does say Golden Jubilee on it, good catch Jerry.

Anyone know what a ’57 Evinrude would look like?

Don’t have a picture, but just a start and choke button in a square-ish plate. It might say push choke to stop. No key switch on a ’57, so it won’t be like the one you linked to.EDIT: Disregard what I just wrote. The ’57 plate is similar to the one you linked to, but has a hole sized for a second push button instead of a key switch. The medallion resembles the one on the hood. Unless you have a generator, then an ammeter goes in the hole.

And the older plate says "push to start" instead of "turn to start" 😉

’57 would be the only year with push button to start and provision for an ammeter.
