      Not sure how you’re planning on mounting everything, or how period correct you want to be, but the size difference of the ’56 plate is pretty substantial compared to the ’57 and up plates.

        I have both pushbutton switches and hope to work on setting up the electric start this Spring. The plate came with a parts 30 HP that I bought a couple of years ago so will keep it for now. You may be better off with the ability to lock up the starter anyway.
