Ok, so when restoring the 50’s Johnson’s, where do you guys get the new stuff? or do you?

I am referring to the rubber part that goes around the carb/choke cover plate to keep it from rattling against the cowl. straight material will work as I have the means to vulcanize it. Most of the time it is broken, stiff as a board or not even there.

      Thanks

      Richard

Peter has just about everything you need for restoration work. A bit pricey, but good quality.

Peter has lots of the really hard to find little parts that make a restoration stand out. Like Mumbles said, a little pricey but the quality of his rubber parts, decals and paint are top notch. He has very nice complete kits for gear cases as well. Everything is there and correct in one kit. Could not be easier.
