      Sometimes I’ll get a couple weeks without having to log in, but I had to yesterday and today. I shouldn’t ever have to log in, unless I log out!
      It can’t be that I shut down power to my PC? I’ll test that.

        That should not do that…as I shut mine down daily….I have my home page, the first page my browser goes to as the Ask-a-member page. Have you tried that?

          I’ve never really understood that either. If I just sit idle for …geeze….maybe a half an hour….I need to re-log in. It’s like that for me on other forums too. It must be security settings of some sort in my browser; I’ve never bothered to try and figure it out.

          As long as I’m actively browsing…it’s OK.

            Hi;

            I’m no computer whiz, but I think it staying logged in requires, "cookies" to be retained.

            My browser is set to clear my history every time I close it, (including when it goes into, "sleep" mode).

            Before I set it to automatically clear the history, I would still be logged in after I left the site and came back.
            Might check those settings, ("clear cookies", or, "clear browser history") and see if there’s a box to check, (or uncheck).

            Hope that helps.
            Happy motoring!

              I usually check the "remember me" box when I log in and I usually stay logged in for several days. When I clear my history, then I have to log in, when I return. I think Calan is correct.
