I just bought a ’54 Fleetwin and it came with this –

Are these rare? Does anyone offer rebuild kits for them?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Quite rare, at least up this way. They didn’t make them for long before they went to fuel pumps. Nice find!

Great find indeed! Worth more than the motor in my opinion!

Thanks! I’m actually thinking of selling it and getting a smaller tank, like a 3 gallon Shoreline marine or something. I don’t have a need for a 6 gallon tank since my excursions aren’t that far, and my lake is not that big. There’s at least a half gallon of rusty water in this thing. Any tips on how to drain it?

take the 8 screws out and take the top off. and yes vintage marine makes a rebuild kit for it, it is actually a mercury tank with a wizard connector
