WOOC Chapter Display

Hi all

Over this past weekend, the Westralian Old Outboard Chapter set up our first public display at the 2016 Mandurah Boat Show. The Mandurah Boat Show is the 3rd biggest in Australia, and the biggest in Western Australia.

We had 18 motors on display, ranging yearwise from a 1911 Evinrude RBM up to an 1972 British Seagull 40+.

Over the course of the show, we had hundreds of people come up to us and say "I used to have one of those!" or "I remember this one!"; the best known motor was the British Seagull.

We received multiple outboard donations to the Chapter which we are thankful for – those motors will be brought back to running condition and/or restored and will become part of the Chapter’s Core Collection.

FYI, some of those electric motors can be worth more than the real thing!

Well done to all involved, and especially to you Boyd for pulling it all together.

With regards to the last picture, how about some names left to right etc so the guys here get to know you all.
