      interesting , the 6r74 is new to me and not run by me yet and I had noticed kill switches on other magneto models like the 9.5s so I figured I’ll add one in …

      that said.. an alternate may be to rig a kill button up front so I don’t need to go to the back of the boat to kill the motor or go neutral when I get a strike …all this if it does not affect ignition reliability

        update….

        switches came in today they look/feel solid mechanically easy to push in >15mgohms open 00.0 ohm pushed in
        good screw down contacts which I could seal up with silicone

        it should fit nicely and very un obstructively just where the regular kill switch goes middle right facing the motor on new er engines .

        I’ll hook and test one up next Spring before drilling my nice 6r74c
