Long Story. This motor came from a close friend's grandfather's basement and he gave it to me after it sat for MANY years. I cleaned the tank (spotless now), rebuilt the carb, cleaned and set the points, cleaned WHAT APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL PLUGS, greased the lower end and formed a new shaft seal, and it started on the first pull. The great lakes chapter invited me to a wet meet and we put it on a boat and it ran and pumped water just fine. I am to the point where I won't be able to have a place for it much longer. I do not want to "Sell". The ideal situation would be to find a place to display it for a fairly long period of time (I know nothing in life is guaranteed) so that I could tell my friend it is in a good place. NearGregory MI
