The Dossin Great Lakes Museum is located on Belle Isle in Detroit at 100 The Strand Drive. Belle Isle is a Michigan State park. Michigan park passport or fee required for entry.

Come on out to the Dossin bring a motor or a few and a boat to display. We will have a test tank for your use. We are situated on the bank of the Detroit River right across from Canada. Always a steady show of big lake freighters and pleasure boats for viewing. The Museum is open and free to us.

Gather at Tom’s shop. Bring a motor or two to display or something to work on. Equipment available for your use, de-greasing tank, medial blast cabinet, chemical de-rusting tank, chromate plating tank and paint booth. We will also have a test tank. There will be lunch for a donation. Again, this year members of the Dearborn Early Engine Club will attend…an opportunity to meet new “motor head” friends.

Come out to Carl’s for the 2026 season “Kick – Off”. Bring a motor (or two) to display. Carl’s has a good stock of outboard parts, bring your wanted list and talk to Mike behind the counter. Swap and sell in the adjoining parking lot. Pizza lunch for a donation. Gloria , the owner has been hosting our meets for quite a number of years now. Don’t miss the meet this year… there may not be a “Carl’s” next year.

One of our most anticipated and well attended meets of the year. Lockeman’s is a true “old school” hardware that has a thriving marine sales and service operation. They have been selling outboards since the 1920’s. Always a huge Swap & Sell… bring your “stuff” to sell and /or bring your wanted list. The indoor test tank will be available. A nice lunch of grilled dogs with all the fixins will be served, thanks to the generous hospitality of our hosts Dave and Doug Zammitt

This is the Great Lakes Chapter “kick -off the 2026 season” meet. The GLC chapter annual business meeting and special Luncheon. A good time to catch up with friends, compare notes on winter’s projects … pay your chapter dues. Bring a motor or two to display. A spacious parking lot for “Swap and Sell”. A catered hot lunch of fried chicken with all the sides will be available for a $10 donation.

Our annual Christmas Meet at West Marine Plaza in Newport Beach.  Arrive at 10 AM on Saturday December 13th.  We have a display of our finest at West Marine and then have a Chapter Paid lunch at the adjacent Woody’s Diner.  Guests are welcome to join us;  simply order off their extensive menu.

The swap meet is held at the community lodge in the gated Lake Wynonah community accessible only from PA 183. GPS location 2545 Wynonah Dr. Auburn, PA 17922

There is a large parking area for swapping. Donations are accepted to defray the cost of continental breakfast, lunch and meet expenses. Continental breakfast and hot lunch will be served in the heated lodge building. Shuttle vehicles will run as needed all day, to take folks to Bob Grubb’s Outboard Museum about a mile away. If you are arriving in the area, the day before, give me a call to visit the museum and/or join us for a dutch treat dinner as a group, at a nearby restaurant.
