        Let me first say I don’t have any of the RDE-17 or RD-17
        Things are in transit or being negotiated.
        As far as the recoil from a RD-17 fitting on RDE-17
        I believe it will fit
        The only differences I can find between the two recoils are-
        On the RD-17 parts list. There is no # 9 but on the RDE-17 parts there is # 9 (41-314) which is an anchor for the recoil rope.
        The other difference is that the part number for the Starter Assembly Complete are different from each other.I am assuming
        because of the above number 9
