          My FDE-12 had "Electric Starting" on the faceplate. I believe that is what he is serching for.
          Cool. I’ve never seen the faceplate with the switches in it before. 😎 That must be for the tiller operator version. 😀

              Yes, it does have tiller steering. Somebody wired jumper cables to the starter and grounder next to the fuel bowl. Haven’t tried a battery yet.

                I like the 57 better than my 58 18 Johnson. It too is E start but missing all the E choke parts. Haven’t looked for it yet. Maybe now as I have a boat for it!
