      Looking for coils for the above motor which has Lucas starting gear .If parts are not available any technical drawings or data that would help me have one made here in Australia would be appreciated….. Cheers Don 🙄 :roll

        A common replacement for coils is OMC replacement coils. This will not work for all magnetos but might be worth investigating. It is often possible to modify the coil laminations to work with the OMC coils. If you buy coils, buy German Prufrex coils; the others appear to have reliability problems.

            Let me take a stab. Perkins is an Oliver, Oliver is a Chris Craft so maybe it still has the Bendix ignition? I might be stretching the theory a bit. If it is Bendix, oldoutboardJim might have a match. Oliveroutboardfixation.com may be of some help. They had some good parts for my Oliver 15HP.
