Some of you may remember some time a few years back, I posted a classic old Honda putt putt here. A lot of you I know have seen it and a lot of you added your comments and made the posting interesting. Well, I will first post the original photos, I took of it.

        I have a ’69 S90, that needs a little TLC. Maybe someday.

The S-90 was a nice little bike. Hopefully, you will make yours look good, like I did mine. 🙂 🙂

              Amazing!
Does it run as good as it looks?

That is a Honda when Honda meant Honda!

Yes sir, it does. The engine for my parts bike was tested on this bike, as well and runs good. So it looks like my parts bike will get the same fate as this one. 😀 😀

Yea, I was amazed at how well it turned out, myself. The crankcase/transmission and cylinder head are still original.
The tires and wheels came from my parts bike and I did have to replace the tank and seat.

                        46,
That brings back memories, That guy has pushrods correct? Ours did & we had no idea how to set them. Tell us more about the parts search & actual build. Looks like a SL model with the swept pipe. I had a 350 SL which was 324cc motor. I ported, polished, added a 450 carbs set & bored to 368cc kit.
It was too hot for the dirt. It would bury a knobby down to the hub in the sand, very fast too as I added 10 teeth to the rear sprocket from I have no idea. Just centered it & welded it to the stock one. Had a ball with it. Oh rejetted doun 3 steps on idle & 2 on the main jet. Back then I would ride on the back wheel as long as the road was good. You bring back great memories getting cacti in the back screaming across the desert. I wore leathers & cheated!!! What fun!!
P.S. did you split the cases too? We would do that to keep the cam chain with no masterlinks.
