tiller model jumps out of gear….anything special to check..hopefully nota GC issue 🙁

(not my motor…friend wants to know)

Sounds like someone has been in there to replace the impeller or ? I’ve always installed the gearcase with both gearcase & motor shift control in forward position.

can’t say who did what owner will chase this one. seems it is a commeon shift lever with shift dog… probaly just a bad ajustment on the shifter handle/link
