      IIRC, there is a spring loaded strip around the gear hub that keeps a drive pin in place. If you clean it out really well, you should be able to remove the strip, then push out the pin. You may have to push the pin a bit, then rotate the shaft and pull it out from the other side.

        Thank you for the info, the shaft is frozen in the housing, my main issue right now is to free it up so I can rotate the shaft, can not apply heat, so this will be a challenge.

          Not sure about your shaft, but the ones I have had apart, the bearing for the driveshaft is a brass bushing with grooves for oil flow. Bet if you heated the case, not real hot but enough to expand the bushing it will/may come apart. They had no seal above the bushing, just downward grooves for oil flow. Clamp the driveshaft somewhere where it isn’t machined to secure while heating.
