evinrude sportman 2 hp 1941 ish to 46 ish , and also ranger had similar. ranger is smaller?

I was hoping it would fit the sportsman I’m reconstructing but it’s too small. Maybe the Ranger?

if it is too small for the Sportsman…..it is also too small for the Sportwin and Zephyr
it must be the Ranger
maybe dimensions will help.

Look for a casting number. That often times is the part number.

It looks to, me like a 375392 starter for a Sportsman. The Sportwin and Zephyr had the bigger 375317 starter. . . 😀
