        Nice work!!! I’m happy for you. I knew the coil heels were important from reading a Mercury manual. I didn’t realise how important they were. I learned too!

          ’49 Montgomery Wards 5hp GG9014A

           

          Received my spark tester yesterday. I’m getting what appears to be great, blue spark up to 3/8″ (as measured from the lines, not the window). I can get spark up to almost 1/2″, but it is not consistent.

          With 1/4″ as the standard, I think I’m good.

          Very happy to move forward with getting this one running.
