Buzz Box–1919 Evinrude Row Boat Motor–Key West, Fl.

Hello all–I made up a Buss Box to run my 1919 Evinrude row boat motor–three wires to the motor from the box–one to the spark plug—one to the ground and one to the points—QUESTION: where do I connect the wire to the points from the buzz box? Ground from battery to ground on motor, usually on the right side of transom.
Green wire from bottom of buzz box to points,
red from buzz box to battery positive
Plug wire from buzz box to spark plug

Oh and unless you like getting "buzzed" don’t touch the plug end while engine is running…..trust me…LOL

Well lets back up a step, does this motor have a magneto flywheel or battery flywheel? and yes it matters…

the motor has a magneto with bad coils and the only thing I want to use is the new buzz box—Bob Phone: 305 292 4821

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Also remember you MUST disconnect the stuff under the mag….MUST
