Cd12 shock absorber

      Can someone tell me how to reduce shock length mine is 1/8th to long do you remove pin and disassemble? I believe it should be 6. 11/16 long can’t figure how to shorten. The spring appears to be ok
      Has signs of heat and I have to replace bearing plate due to wear

        Either a shop press or a big hammer will do the job.
