Champion Blue Ribbon K1

I recently adopted two Champion Blue Ribbon K1s. I have downloaded the so called manual. It only refers to the spark plug by the Champion part number.

Looking for a plug number. Any make will do. I can cross reference it.

Here’s the Autolite number. You should be able to cross reference it
to Champion online.

Champion D-16 … that is from a Champion ref chart. I run one in my Champion J1 , seems good

Started tearing down my parts 1K today. Finally found the model ID. As Gomer Pyle says, “Surprise.  Surprise. ” They are both 1J motors. So I will go get a Champion D-16. As per Joe B.

I think that the J 1 and K1 are the same motor, just a year apart, 1947 and 48

AND Thanks, Mumbles for the manual, I didn’t have one for my newly acquired J1
