Does anyone know where to find an impeller for one of these? I have the opportunity to purchase a running one, but im sure it will need a new impeller, if not now, soon.

      Thanks in advance

I found two of them doing a Google search but I’m sure there’s more of them out there. P/N F390065 or FA390065.

        $25 here:

        $77.50 here:

          Thank you!

See what you can do if you think:) I just know they are not on marine engine, so I figured they would be impossible to find.

So, what is the point of even having a pump on this engine if the power head is air cooled?

The water pump cools the exhaust housing.

              Ben,
If you know anyone who will help you match an OMC impeller that would fix you up. Is it a bladed or hockey puc type?

                Jeff,
The original poster is SteeleMan and he is asking about the impeller. This is a flexible vane type impeller in this motor. If there is an OMC impeller that will substitute into a Chrysler outboard Ben Dittmar would be my first go to. I’m sure there are others that know as well, but he is the chrysleroutboarddude. 😉

Are you sure it even has an impeller? Some motors have a ram tube that the prop forces water up through. Look at the underwater exhaust outlet. Does it have a pipe sticking out and curving forward? If so, no impeller.

Your 3.6 should have this hump in the housing for the water pump.

The earlier 3.5 Elgin/West Bend based motors are smooth in this area and instead will have a water pickup tube behind the prop.

Good info, I did not know about that hump.
