I just spotted this, thought someone here might be interested. I thought I saw a hot lead thread here before but can’t locate it.
I have no idea who the seller is, or if ad is legit, so proceed at your own….
If this is improper let me know and I will delete the thread. I will keep an eye on ad and delete this if it sells or disappears.

I think it was laying in the grass not upside down as the camera angle suggests.

If it’s at the Cape, it’s probably been in the salt water.

I’m on Cape Cod and thought about looking at it. Engines like that can be saved if they have seen salt. It’s just a lot harder to get stuff apart. Unlike other engines of that era, those engines themselves almost never fail BECAUSE of salt itself. I would be willing to pick it up, if anybody in the club just HAS to have it.

I personally don’t want it. I am supposed to be a Merc guy but OMCs have been coming home with me lately like poop on a sneaker. I’d be glad to pick it up for someone else and hold it until whenever, or ship on the AOMCI underground railroad.
