      That’s not a rare part -find a replacement.
      Likely cheaper than finding someone to weld it.

      A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

        thanks for the replies. I found a new lower and installed it but haven’t been able to keep the motor running long enough to see if it is fixed.
