The old outboard book on page 262 shows an Elto Lightweight 1929  at 3.5 hp.  My best guess, Peter Hunn is THE man.

            David,
            I’ll confirm Dale’s post that you have a 1929
Folding Lightweight with some serious issues.
I’ve been making some videos on the 29 folding motors.
Here is a preview on the one you have.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Tubs, I watched your videos.  Very informative, as always.

Here’s one of the serious issues.

I’ve heard there is someone in the club who rebuilds these.

                    -Broken spark advance lever

                    -Broken rope sheave

-Banged up tank, missing fuel cap.

                    What others do you see?

                        The coil is no problem.
Here are a couple videos on repairing the coil.
It would have been if you didn’t have the coil
tube. Its a different size than all the other Super
                        Elto’s. Hard to find.
