T’once there was an Islander who grew up in a lagoon and learned all about boats, motors and dreamed of sailing the seas in a 6 masted schooner with a crew of 100….
Finally he got a Sears Delux 150 with a 75 on it. The 75 lower unit has a crack that a welder is going to try and fix, but the unit has been sitting in the weather for 15 years.
The front bearing on the prop shaft blew, which caused the case to crack. The bearing race is still in there, and I am excited to retrieve it, but I can’t because it is at the welder.
I am excited! a 12′ boat with a 75hp motor on it! I grew up on an island…Unheardof!!!!
