      What year range Evinrude controls will work on a 1994 70 hp? Has tilt and trim.

        The answer is all year ranges if you know what youre doing.

        I would never recommend the old 2-lever boxes due to no neutral start protection, but they technically would work as well.

        In ‘96 the wiring harness had different ends put on it but can be adapted with a wire harness adapter for about $160.00.

          That’s good to know. I’m guessing that if the electrical connector was the same as my motor, I’d be OK. I would only be looking for a single lever that had the tilt/trim switches. Was just interested in what requirements I needed to have for it to function for my motor.
