evinrude light four float height

Hi, does anybody know what is the proper float height and how to set it on an evinrude light four?

I found this in the ’54 shop manual. Doesn’t the float needle have little brass clips which slide down the needle to hold the float in place?

Also, here’s a manual for these carbs so you can take them apart without breaking anything. The Zephyr carb is basically the same as the Lightfour carb except for the bolt pattern.
