I have a mod # 7031 ser # 12505 Evinrude opposed 4 cylinder engine. I think it is a 33.4 hp. Does anyone have any info on this engine. Original color? Possibly a picture of original decals.

June 27, 2016 at 3:24 pm #39047Thanks for the photos . Any trick to free up cylinders? I have removed the powerhead but have not removed the cylinders yet. Have the crankcase and cylinders full of light oil. I will install grease fitting in head and try to pump full of grease to break pistons loose. Any suggestions?

You don’t want to use the grease gun method unless the cylinders
are removed and the rods separated from the crank.
Otherwise if more than one piston is stuck it will force something you don’t want to.
Tubs has a lot of experience with these old timers, He’ll help you get it going.
Good Luck with your motor!Steve A W
