      Hello. Does anyone know the correct fuel mixture for a qd17 and a qd19.thanks

        Well, the book says 24:1. But, I would stick with 16:1 because of the weak wrist pins/bushings.

          Yes Fleetwin is 200% correct. Even my later 85hp Evinrude I run at 40/1 using good OMC oil. Never have fouled plugs cause the spark is so hot too. My 53 Evinrude 15 I ran in the past never over 2/3 throttle because my boat wasn’t a planing hull I ran it at one quart per five gallons to keep the mixture at 20/1 & it said to use this mix inside the hood but outside it stated 16/1. Because I never opened it up it ran very well. Now I would stick with 16/1 as I understand the motor better. Keep your motor oiled!! Oil is much less than fixing a broken motor!!
