Mumbles, I didn’t see any HQ caps listed. Does Digikey sell them as well? Really important to be part of the listing number! What is GST & PST? Some kind of extra shipping costs?
The MKP 1839 Vishay has a wide range of caps that covers all outboard requirements as well. Doesn’t matter where you get them just use the Vishay HQ caps & you will have great performance with them from my gatherings.
JeffOctober 6, 2015 at 4:25 pm #25228Hey Jeff, Digi-Key carries the Vishay HQ caps. If you do a search you will find them. They also use their own part numbers which are BC2609-ND, BC2608-ND and BC2607-ND which are for the .22, .15 and .10 uF caps.
GST and PST are extra costs alright. They are the Goods and Services Tax and Provincial Sales Tax. Everyone up here wants a piece of the pie.

Thought you were in the USA. Can you avoid the extra costs using Digi-key I hope? Thanks for listing the part numbers. That helps everyone to have two places that stock them!!! I made copys as well!! I’m just glad we found a correct cap that we can use in our mags!!

Looked it up, VERY Good! How does a Canadian dollar equal to a USA dollar? Do you not get the extra charges going thru Digi-key? Clue us in on this please.October 6, 2015 at 10:11 pm #25238Today, the Cdn Loonie is worth .77 US.

Your US dollar is worth $1.30 Canadian so come on up and buy some motors!

The Canadian prices are higher at Digi-Key Can but they work out about the same for US sold caps. Their headquarters are in MN but they have a distribution warehouse somewhere in the Toronto area. They sent the caps quite quickly and shipping to the West Coast was $8.00 but I did have to pay 12% in taxes.

PS, and perhaps you folks in Canada can get in on a group order if you can send some $$ and then I can get your caps to one of the several Canadian members that come to our meets here in Michigan… Then on to you via Royal Mail. -
