Hello everyone. I just joined the AOMC today. I own a 1939 Bendix TMD that was beautifully cosmetically ( and reportedly mechanically) restored about 7 years ago. I have never tried to start it. I now live on a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Park in upstate NY and I would like to use this beautiful machine with a small skiff. Could someone please walk me through the process of starting this motor. I know that it is AIR cooled so can I perform a test run with it on a stand without having it in the water? What gas mix should I use ??? Please HELP 🙂 Thank you. Eric
