          A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

            Yup, the old outboard book puts it at a 1932-33 Elto Service A at 5.8 hp.
            I think that the timer may be like my model 422 Elto Super A.
            It’s not an attwater Kent timer but a set of points.
            If I’m wrong someone I’m sure will come along and correct me.

              US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

              I think the points are adjusted by shims under the contact screw head. Loosening the two screws pointed out are probably for getting points to contact squarely.
