Looking to restore a few old steel gas tanks for modern use, like supplying a generator. Best models, parts source, etc, would be very interested.

Also sourcing a new “old skiff” but that’s a topic for later.

I fixed an old tank by having it hot boiled out then getting it nickel plated. Turned out nice. Also muratic acid cleans well but wear breathing protecttion.
