I re-measured the old impeller in the 10 hp Corsair, and it’s
.500 shaft
1.864 OD
.580 ish thickI found one close in diameter in my stash, but it was way too thin.
Hopefully someone has a proven impeller number that will work.Prepare to be boarded!
November 9, 2025 at 6:15 pm #301349In looking at old charts,
Sierra impeller 18-3028
seems to be a pretty good match for what I need, but it’s nowhere
in sight on the Net. 🙁18-3028
OD 1.860
.500 shaft
.602 heightPrepare to be boarded!
November 9, 2025 at 10:12 pm #301350I used a Merc impeller in a Scott last year. The impeller hub ID was bigger than the driveshaft so I made an adapter hub. It worked real well.

to see if that’s an option for mine.Prepare to be boarded!

November 11, 2025 at 1:15 am #301371I found this:

Specs for that impeller shows that it’s an inch high,
and 3.6″ diameter…….. not even close to what I need,
but thanks for looking. If you meant 18-3028, that one would work, but I can’t
find one “out there”.Prepare to be boarded!
November 11, 2025 at 7:43 pm #301406I’m digging through my work notes but apparently I didn’t record a part number for what I used. As I recall, it was supposed to fit a KG7.
The Scott was a 1949 model 1-16.

November 12, 2025 at 4:43 pm #301422Whoops! I’m always accidentally swapping digits! For 18-3028 everything I’ve found says it’s a woodruff key for a Yamaha.
