Impeller housing

I have a 1956 Buccaneer model 5d13b 5 hp! Went through lower unit, and had to patch the lower impeller housing! Is there a new part available that includes the lower housing, put in a seal kit! Found several impellers and housing online, that were new! Unable to locate one for mine, any suggestions?

It might be time for you to do some research as to what other  model motors used that housing and start to be on the lookout for a parts motor.

If you were going to do what CK mentions there, to help broaden your search for a cheap parts motor, the 50s and 60s 5-1/2 and 7-1/2 HP and maybe the first few years 6 HP use that 376074 bearing housing and the 300599 > 327031 seal.

I have  purchased several  good  5.5 and  7.5 for half the price of that part !!!   somebody must have s dead one in a shed or barn !
