Still trying to find a source for 1926 Johnson P-30 piston rings….nothing special; cast iron, 2 7/8″ diameter, 3/16″ wide. Seems like many of the past suppliers done have them??

    Did you try this site?

    https://www.dlastore.com/cylinders-pistons/individual-piston-rings.html

I know some people in the past have “doubled up” two rings to get
the correct width, but not sure that’s an option with your pistons.

    Prepare to be boarded!

I thought  of trying this….but on a 2-stroke piston there might be issues with the ports…

If you have a big enough lathe, there is an article in one of the more recent outboarders detailing the process of making new rings for a caille outboard.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.  Seems the 3/16″ width is an issue…
