Finished my resto on the KA 37. Plan is to use corn head grease for the lower unit. There is 2 plugs. One at the skeg and one above the cavitation plate. Question is what is the procedure for putting grease in? In the bottom untill it comes out the top hole?

if so how much grease will it hold? And there is a third screw higher up that says drain?

        Boonie,

You are correct. Put in lower hole until it comes out the one above the gearcase. Will hold about a half-pint.

I’m picky. I turn the prop over a few times, then try to add some more grease to get rid of air bubles. Not ewquired but just me.
