I have a service manual for Mercury KG-7 1950 to 1953 and in the parts list all part numbers start with M-20-1150 for instance is a AJ-32A carb. All part numbers that I put in ebay or google search, no luck. I know for sure merc part # 1317-595 is a AJ-32 carb.
My question is, does anyone know if maybe there is a way to cross reference these M-20 M-10 M-30 part numbers to something useful?
Im looking for a tiller handle. My manual shows M-40-2266 M-40-2075 and M-40-2090 three different sections of the handle and three part numbers.
No luck with any of those numbers
      Thanks
      Brandon

Merc published a Parts Price List and in the front of the list there is a cross reference.
        40-2266 is 21629A2
        40-2075 is 24360
        40-2090 is 24367A2

          Thanks,
Is that publication part#90-26119 like the one on johns old merc site?

Not sure of the part number but I do know it is on JOMS. The name of the document is a little misleading.

                      Brandon,
Pay attention to detail Hi performance engine, Glad I can help. When you take to the water it will scare you for a 10hp motor. Use merc oil & mix a little rich. Many of the needles are old Army specs. Some can’t be found now. Had my KG7 D. shaft replated in the seal area. Must run with clean fuel system. Mine was having a rough idle after total flush. Pulled the idle jet & let it drain a napkin full & reset. Please post your advances,
