I still have all your pictures. I see the video is 10 years old. Did you ever get your gas cap off. I have a possible if you haven’t.  

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Tubs…I eventually cut the cap off and used a replacement…thank you for the offer.

I scanned the booklet in PDF file. Unfortunately the file is too large for this site. I can email copies to whoever needs one.

magnetoparts.com offers new coils for Maytag twins which use the same magneto.  I went thru the work of fitting a Pony motor coil (no small task) only to find I could not get a reliably strong spark.
