I swapped the fuel line in my 6 gallon OMC  pressure tank with a 15 footer so I could move it to the front of my boat to get some ballast. Will the 6 lbs (if i recall correctly) of pressure the crankcase generates be enough to overcome the length of the hose?

I have run an 8 footer for 10+ years and have never had an issue. Wondering if I’m flirting with disaster here.

distance  does not influence  it   much ……… compared to  how low the tank could  be   which it won’t be anyway.

Yes, Crosby man is correct. I had a  1954 Evinrude 15hp pressure tank motor & did the same thing moving it up front. Never had any issues & worked well.
