      Louis,

      I had an old 3.5 hp Firestone with stuck rings. I soaked the assembly in carb cleaner O cam’t remember how long, mabey 5 days. They came right off. They were dirty from motor oil mix. Got the motor running to find a bent crankshaft, Oh well foiled again! I bet some guy tried prying off the flywheel Crap!

        I’ve used an old 5 dollar slo cooker with ATF in it and soaked two motorcycle pistons for a couple of days. some tapping with the back of a hammer handle and they broke free. Just never know….

          You can do the same thing with an electric fry pan in the garage.
