I’M TRYING TO FIND A BOAT COVER FOR AN ALUMACRAFT MODEL F AND A ROWBOAT. BOTH ARE 14′ LONG AND HAVE 52" BEAMS. I’VE TRIED SEVERAL ONLINE MAKERS AND ALL OF THEIR COVERS ARE WAY WIDE… 68′.
ANYONE KNOW A MAKER WHO HAS A COVER THAT WOULD FIT BETTER… WITH OR WITHOUT OUTBOARD COVER.
I got mine on EBay.Silver in color, light weight, water repellant.I got it to keep dust and leaves out while parked under a shed.Elastic edge with loops to tie, rope and a storage bag.I have hauled the boat with it on for short trips.
I have a 12 ft aluminum row boat on a trailer. I tried different tarps and "tent rigs" over several years. I was never satisfied. Now I just flip the boat over on the trailer and strap it back down. A little extra effort, but otherwise, it works great. Of course, early in the spring I flip it back over before the nesting insects find it.
This ain’t exactly what you are looking for BUT. A dealer here in northern Ohio sells hi-dollar bass boats. They come with a shipping cover. this cover is water proof and has vents in it. the owners don’t want those tarps(covers) I then take it(or them) to an Amish lady and have her cut them down to fit. They will also more than cover a 14-16 boat for the winter. Just bungee the cover down. I even get them for friends in Canada. stan scj616@aol.com
