      Can anyone help with correct paint color and paint scheme for this outboard. Will also need parts too, I think.

          Hey Dave,
          Never talked about this with you but my KD4 has original decals,( I think) & it’s painted royal blue, Looks original but not sure!!

              Nope never blue. I have a Johnson tn 27 painted blue over the seahorse green. Half is missing. Pretty funky looking. Yuk.
              Dull aluminum. Restoring a KD4 as well. Almost ready for paint.

                        Fifty, are any of those motors yours done with this paint? I know Louis (AKA Greenthumbs) recently bought some and waiting to hear the results.
