This was probably the only disassembly operation that I didn’t take a picture of (I hope).

when reassembling the magneto would the following order be correct?

sector gear, brass shim, magneto hold down spring

Go to Marine Engine and look at Mark 25 magneto. I think the brass shim goes on top of the other two.
