      Hello, I’m try to find out what year my KE-7 is. Serial number is 276917 (see attachment).  Also, how common is it to have a AJ29A carburetor on this model? Thanks.

        Hi David. Based on the serial # your motor is from 1949. AJ 19A would be the correct carb for your motor. AJ 29A was used on the KF7. It may work just fine on your motor if set correctly.

          I have heard a AJ 29 is better than a 19, never tried either though.The only item I don’t care for is the points must be adjusted with the flywheel on thru the slot. Good luck with your build. great motors.
