            Early KG7 had copper tubing and later had rubber. As someone already mentioned match up copper line at hardware store. You can get the rubber hose with pressure fitting and threaded end from either oldmercs,com or vintageoutboards.com

                was changed with the KG7H with all the vibration they cracked with copper. just a note.

                      My KG7H had the Flex Rubber Hose. That’s what I want for my restoration of both my Kg7 & Kg7H Motors. Got them on order, Thanks, Jim

                        The KG7 I bought in about 1950 was almost new and had copper. It broke on the end attached to the filter. 🙁
                        I replaced with rubber. Now I use plastic.
