It seems like a read a while back, that a club member makes fuel line for Mercury motors. I could use a new line from the tank to the carb. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

September 22, 2016 at 7:22 pm #44543it is a little tricky to bend without kinking it but can be done with 1/4" copper line and compression fittings. Have seen it done with tubing bender also heard that if you fill it with sand will not kink but not tried that yet.

how is it motors multiply when the garage lights get
turned off?September 22, 2016 at 10:34 pm #44552There is a member in my area making them, pm me your contact info and ill pass it along to him if you like.
September 22, 2016 at 11:02 pm #44555Crestflyer on this site use to make them. I have gotten them from him. Not sure if he is still making them. Also try Doug Brooke at Vintage outboard. (link on the site) I just got one from him at a decent price.
September 24, 2016 at 8:48 pm #44686I bought 18" of copper tubing & bent my own using the tubing bender. Be sure to get the tubing hot to get a tight bend. It is back to back bends on a greentank. No sand required. Bend them 180 out & twist to align, it will be a tighter bend next to the other. 18" is a little long but 12" is very tight. I did mine with 12" piece but I have bent miles of pipe of all sizes for years being a sparkie!
September 24, 2016 at 10:59 pm #44690You can get soft cooper roll from a home improvement store and bend it by hand. I have done this for a KF7.

September 25, 2016 at 12:31 pm #44699There is a guy who also has restored Mercs in Southern Ontario, first name I believe is Chris although I could be wrong, that makes fuel lines for all mercs that look original & half the price of others. Hopefully he or someone that knows him will provide contact information.
