Hello, I need to replace a fuel line on my 1966 20hp mercury and don’t want to pay for the actually mercury fuel line that cost $40. I’m looking to see if it’s possible to use different brass fittings so I can slide my own fuel line on those fittings when it needs changed. What are the fitting sizes for the fuel pump and connector. (Fuel pump part number 23009) and (Male side connector is 30186)

There is a member on Johns Old Mercury Site that makes new hoses for a reasonable price. Exact copies of the original.

I used barbed brass fittings on my 200 & hose from NAPA. Their hose is made to handle all the new crappy fuel we use today.
